Direct Approach or Indirect Approach…What’s the Difference?

Trying to persuade someone to do something can be tough to some extent.

And if you browse the internet, or the bookstore. You’d find quite a number of materials on persuasion

But which styles work best.

Think about yourself in this instance. Remember the last time you did a favor for someone. How did this person ask for this favor?

A lot of experts have talked about the power of first giving value.

For a friend, it could be a joke, sometimes a laugh sets the tone. Although it depends on the gravity of the favor.

For an acquaintance, a gift works.

For a stranger?

All these are indirect methods. And I do not think they can be outdone by a direct approach.

The time you take to make the other person happy is invaluable.

What can you give a stranger?

Do you have any idea?
