Familiar not Spectacular (What is the Center Of Gravity).

The truth about many of our daily decisions, and habits is that we make and keep them because we know how to go about them.

We don’t spend more than a few seconds deciding and a few minutes to get into the flow state. The brain is amazing.

Supposing you’re a business owner, how can you leverage this bias? The tendency to go with the familiar, and ignore the unknown no matter how spectacular it may seem?

They say the best-selling copy are lyrics to a popular song. So advertising?

Speaking of which…

There’s this great ad I saw with a bunch of dancers and a voice repeating only about three lines of copy with a sweet melody. Trying to sell some snack. I got hooked immediately and got the song stuck in my head. My friend came over to see me yesterday and I began humming the melody and immediately he sang out the lyrics and…lol we were dancing at once.

The next time I go out for a snack, that’s the brand.
